Mini Spin-A-Thon Event Report
Where: Spa at Glenpointe, Teaneck, NJ
Time: 7:30am (Yikes!!!)
21 spinners broke their beauty sleep on a Sunday, July 12th to support Shoe4Africa's school building project. The event went off without a hitch and what made it all the better was riding for a remarkable cause. 5 people walked away winners of great prizes like a $75 gift certificate to On Track Sporting Goods store and a private Spin or Zumba class for the winner and 20 of their friends at The Spa. Additional donations were received on and after event day, bringing our fundraising meter to $490. This was the perfect start to our fundraising campaign.

Welcome
This year, we are helping Shoe4Africa -a New York based non-profit organization- raise funds to build a much needed Secondary School in Kimng'eru, Kenya. With 159 students on the secondary school level already learning and crowded into a single classroom at a primary school, Shoe4Africa will build the Martin Lel Secondary School on 3 acres of donated land. F.L.O. Humanity will be hosting a series of fundraising events for this cause. The series will culminate at our benefit party with events planning company No One’s Done it Right in September. Full details will be released in August.
But first, we kick things off with a Mini Spin-A-Thon that will take place on July 12th. Registration details will be released on July 30th.
Thank you for your continued interest and support!
